The building has some architectural merit although that is difficult to appreciate with its ground floor windows boarded up. The fretted bargeboards, the two oriel windows and the substantial ground floor bay give the building some character and the club was part of the life of Sudbury for over 160 years. It needs a sympathetic new owner.
