Clarence Road 10

Residential

A substantial, dignified villa with a great deal of visual appeal. A projecting bay of two storeys dominates the facade, each bay with its four original sash windows. The front door is recessed within the porch. A decorative band of moulded brick detailing (nail head and rope work patterns) runs along the middle of the facade and two unusual lion heads give added interest. Possibly built by Clement Dennington in the 1880s.
