A pair of 1930s council houses - they show what could be achieved by the public sector between the wars. The pantiled roof and the grouping of the two front doors behind a shared recessed brick doorway are attractive features - simple but pleasing. (We have included a closeup of a similar doorway to Nos 23-25)
