Station Road 39-40

Residential

An attractive, contrasting pair of Victorian villas of c1870(?). No 40 has the original brickwork still visible with the white brick used for the window jambs adding visual interest. Its replacement UPVC windows faithfully match the originals next door. In contrast the brickwork of No 39 has been rendered over, giving more of a Georgian feel to that property. There are subtle differences in the arched doorways and No 39 has the bonus of a small arched window on the return frontage.
