Next year will see the 300th anniversary of the birth of Thomas Gainsborough and on October 15 we will host Calvin Winner, Director of Gainsborough’s House. to whet our appetites for the various celebrations and events which are planned for the year. Calvin has been Director since May 2024, prior to which he spent almost sixteen years as Head of Collections at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts in Norwich.
