Yet another Grimwood house of 1908.There is a story that Arthur Grimwwod the firm's architect went on a holiday to Switzerland and this inspired the chalet style he used here. There is certainly a Swiss feel to the alignment of the roof axis at 90 degrees to the road, the deep overhang of the eaves and the first floor balcony with window shutters. The chimney stacks disguised as turrets add another individual touch.
