An attractive modern courtyard development by Ralph Carpenter, Modece Architects, dating from about the same time as Nonsuch Meadow - 1986-90. The houses are aligned to take advantage of passive solar energy and the detailing is well considered. A simple, limited palate of materials of grey slate, white woodwork and a yellowly cream brick is used throughout the courtyard.
