The villa was fitted into a rather narrow building plot so that to allow side access on the right the eaves came very close to its neighbour on the left. White brick was used for the front but cheaper red brick at the back and sides. A square ground floor window bay supports a three sided bay on the first floor. The use of rusticated segmental arches above the doorway and upstairs windows are characteristic of the local builder C.E Dennington and a date around 1895.
