An attractive detached Victorian villa erected on Plot 8 of Millfield* by local builder F.W Jennings. He bought the land in December 1872 and sold the completed house to retired farmer Joseph Brand in October 1875. The ground floor bay window, carried through to the upper floor, is nicely balanced by the two storey entrance 'tower' with a simple arched window above the front door, set below a fretted bargeboard.
