Since 2004 all the original wooden sashes have been replaced but at least the modern UPVC windows replicate the original glazing patterns. No 6 on the left is the front of a quite substantial Victorian property c 1840 with wide eaves and a Georgian doorway and fanlight. On the right is a former weatherboarded smithy converted into a house. The house numbering here is most bizarre - where are Nos 4 and 5?
