Cornard Road 22-24

Commercial

These buildings are of local historical interest and once also had a certain attractiveness. Sadly they have been boarded up for many years and look far more dilapidated now than when this photo. was taken c2004.They are all that is left of Oliver's Brewery. Their offices on the left were rebuilt in 1902 (architect A.A.Hunt) and boast an oriel window at the south end overlooking the brewery yard. Brewery House on the right was the family home of one of the two Oliver brothers.
