A short terrace of mid Victorian cottages, erected by the local builder. Edwin Coote Green in 1862. He used overfired black bricks with reds to provide a decorative string course and diaper patterns on the chimneys. The wedge shaped window lintels are unusual for Sudbury. Note the 'Royal' Insurance firemark above the datestone.
