Cross Street 38 Bridge House


No 38 complements and contrasts with No 37.The slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles, the imposing double bay window and the original cast iron railings - all interesting features which add to its attractiveness. Built c1860 at various times it was occupied by the local Baptist minister and the Ipswich Building Society undertaker - their mortuary was at the rear. Group value with Nos. 36 and 37.
