An attractive late Regency property behind Buzzards Hall. The date 1840 and the initials of three members of the Rae family appear high up below the deep eaves. The front door below the rectangular fanlight, the panelled doorcase, the windows, all look original and the various blank windows give rhythm and balance to the facade. Named after the Congo missionary Holman Bentley who stayed here with the Misses Rae whilst on furlough.
