Friars Street 63

Residential

An elegant well proportioned town house of c1840 - a time when the local white brick, although more expensive, was more fashionable than the red. Here white has been used for the street frontage and red for the less visible back and sides. The ground floor shutters and tapering the brick arch around the fanlight add a touch of individuality to the building.
