One of many similar properties erected by Sudbury Borough Council in these streets above Melford Road in the 1930s - well proportioned, solidly built council houses which have stood the test of time and contribute in their own way to the interest and variety of the Sudbury townscape. Having the two front doors recessed and set inside a brick arch adds to the visual appeal.
