Terrace of four substantial well proportioned villas built by F.W Jennings in the early 1880s. Large family homes for persons of some means. Only incorporated into the numbering system for this side of the road in the 1960s - perhaps indicative that the occupants did not see themselves as part of the "sixpenny" workers' terraces further down the road. Carved stone lintels, dogtooth and cable moulding to the string course, wooden porches with trellis work decoration and three still have their original sashes.
