With Nos 9-11, this is one of a pair of villas with built by Grimwoods c1858 (No 15 is mentioned in a document of April 1859 relating to the adjacent Victoria Terrace, also built by George Grimwood.) Well proportioned properties with the ground floor decoration catching the eye - cement moulded to form the brackets which support both the window architraves and the striking arches around the door- note the foliate mask motif. Original sash windows retained.
